In the world, not of it!
That statement alone separates God's children from the ways of this nature world. God created us in His image and likeness to bring glory to Himself. Most things surrounding your physical world, the things you can see with your eyes are no longer pleasing or bringing glory back to the father as it was intended to. This is not ok! You have heard this a million times I am sure and this has also become very cliché which is very dangerous to allow anything involving God to become common. Just to be Krystal Klear, everything should involve Him, simply because He is everything. I want to reroute your thinking about you and how you see yourself. For some reason you have decided to be normal, low-key or live your life in the shadows. You have decided to wait to be chosen, to wait on man to give you a position or a form of prestige in order to "be" someone. You have allowed yourself to be world-washed!! You have entered a long invisible line and have decided to wait your turn. Well I have news for you...... you have allowed yourself to be deceived by the ways of this world and all the toxicity of the direct world around you. You have decided to be just like "them," all while making the decision to tell God "I do not want to be what and who you created me to be. I just want to go with the flow. I have given up trying to figure out the real me, its just too hard!" Then it happens..... The mask comes on and you have forfeited your individuality all because you could not find your place in the places you did not belong. If by chance you are seeking permission ..... allow this as your sign to see klearly and live again!! This world has nothing to offer you outside of knowing your true identity in Christ. Its all temporal and will lack fulfillment outside of knowing who you truly are. Its like winning the lottery without a plan. You will run to buy everything your heart desires and spend every bit of the winnings wondering what happened. You had no money management skills or investment plans so you did all you knew to do and that was to spend. You grabbed at everything you ever thought of and without purpose it will fall through your fingers every time! The money in this scenario is equivalent to your days. Your days will waste away and fly by fast outside of you walking in all you were created to be. Don't be this person! Make a different decision today to live your life in abundance of all God created you to be! Time to mask off and show the world the real you.

Most of us have a tendency to go with what life presents to us, rather than telling our life what you want out of it. We go with "the flow", and take whatever comes our way. Well I say, we have been deceived long enough. Life is a precious gift that we do not have permission to take for granted. You are created for more than the lies you believe about yourself. Let's talk about what you believe? What does your mind and inner voice constantly say to you? Is it positive and uplifting or is it your own private prison?
We are not created to face life in fear. We are created to rise above and see the situation as it really is. We all have the ability to view each situation that shows up in our lives from God's view.
Have you ever took flight? If so are you a window seat or aisle rider? I remember my first few times flying on a plane were so terrifying. The thought of being out of control and not knowing who was in control of the plane or what state of mind they are in can be scary. Unable to see what's ahead or whats coming up scares some people so bad they refuse to get on an airplane. My very first time flying, I didn't pick my seat so when I boarded the plane and walked to my row, I realized I had a window seat assigned to me. As soon as I sat down, I pulled the cover on the window down. I guess the fear was pretty obvious when the 15 year old passenger next to me asked, is this your first time? Up and down throughout the night is the job of a parent for a child who is under the weather. Caring for a sick child is never our favorite time of parenthood or is it? We do not necessarily like the helpless feeling of not being able to provide a instant relief to our children right away or to see them suffer in any type of pain. It's no fun to see them struggle to eat or to smile. To see the sad look on their tiny faces as they constantly repeat, "I don't feel good."
But have you ever reflected back on you during this time? I'm not talking about the lack of sleep, irritation of not being able to complete a task, canceled plans, worry of calling out of work or the fight to keep yourself well enough to return to business as usual. |
